Can you see how a father loves his child? can you see how much pain and sacrifice a father is willing to do just so he could let his child feel the love that nobody else could ever possibly give? That man endured all the pain physically in his training and emotionally in seeing his son's condition in which he could do nothing but pray and try, and yet he did not allow his child to feel that he is a bit less of a child because of his condition.
did you see how happy the child is??? Did you see his priceless smile in every race they both went to? his joyous look knowing that he graduated in college despite his condition? who would've thought that someone like him could have done such things? Do you ever think that he could have done any of those things, any of those success he could have reached, if it weren't for the sacrifice of his father? if it weren't for the unconditional love of his father?
all the pain, just so he could see his son smile...
Now, have you ever thought of how mama and papa have sacrificed a lot of things just so they can see us in good condition, good health, put us in school and provide for our everyday need?
They sacrificed their selves, both their lives to the point of having their relationship as a couple at risk just so they can give us our needs and wants. And it pains me a great deal to see how you treat our parents, especially papa. He may not be there at the time of your birth until you were seven, but have you ever thought how his absence for the first years of your life hurts him so much more than you could ever imagine? Just think about how badly he would've wanted to be here during your birth, hold you and cuddle you on your first cry, see you when you first opened your eyes, smile or say your first word? Think about how badly he have wanted to go home just to see your first yawn, hear your first laugh, pick you up when you fall down or mend your wound when you scraped your knee? Do you think the thousand pictures we have sent him could have sufficed his longing???
They gave you everything you ever needed and wanted. Even the things that i didn't have when i was small. In fact most of the things you have, i never had them. Do you know how jealous i was of you because you can have what you want? but then at some point, i realized the jealousy turned into pity as i witnessed your indecency towards our parents. You may not be the most showy person in the world but at least you should try, cause NOTHING you do will ever surmount their sacrifices and love for us, for you.
so before you complain, before you speak, before you react, before you do stupid things that you will forever regret, THINK and FEEL HOW GREAT IS THEIR LOVE.
